The Women in Coffee Blend is a blend of coffees from three female producers in the South of Minas region of Brazil. These farms include Fazenda Serra dos Alpes, Fazenda Coqueiros Anexo Aline, and Fazenda de Serra from producers Raquel Joane Rodrigues, Aline Codo, Danielle Fonseca, respectively.

A beautiful blend of natural processed yellow icatu, red catuai, and mundo novo, this coffee has a smooth texture, gentle sweetness, and those classic nutty characteristics we love from Brazilian coffees.

Colombia Wilton Benitez Java - Special Release

Special Release - This coffee will be roasted on the week of the 1st and 15th each month while quantities last.

This unique coffee comes from Granja Paraiso 92 from producer Wilton Benitez in Piendamó, Cauca.  Paraíso 92 is a highly innovative farm with its own processing plant, microbiology lab, and quality lab. This particular coffee is a washed Java variety that has undergone a double anaerobic thermal shock process.  The first anaerobic fermentation phase involves adding specific microorganisms under carefully controlled conditions. Afterwards, the coffee is pulped and then subjected to a second fermentation phase. When the second fermentation phase is complete, a thermal shock process is carried out through hot and cold-water shots in an effort to improve and boost the organoleptic characteristics of the coffee.

From the Karatina washing station in the Barichu locale of Nyeri county, Kenya, this washed process coffee is bursting with notes of currants, cherries, blackberries, and citrus fruits. Part of the Barichu Cooperative Society, representing 1,450 smallholder farmers, these coffees are often shade grown under the cover of grevillea, macadamia, and banana trees, and then picked and washed using Kenyan processing methods resulting in a cup that has incredible clarity.
