Our coffee beans are freshly roasted in small batches every Friday and shipped the day after, which means they are never roasted more than 7 days before despatch. Customers who select "free pick up" option and order by Friday morning, will be able to collect their items the following Wednesday.

This unique lot comes from producer Katia Duke of San Isidro farm in Copán, Honduras. Katia's family has been farming coffee for generations, however, it was only following the leaf rust epidemic that hit Honduras in 2012, in which the majority of the farm's yield was lost, that the family transitioned to specialty coffee with Katia leading the way. As a female producer in what is typically a male dominated industry, this did not come without its challenges. However, through hard work and dedication, Katia has become recognized as a leader in her community. Outside of coffee, San Isidro has initiated many impactful projects including building a school and creating and supplying a nutritional program locally. This exciting lot underwent a "mossto" fermentation in which the culture from a separate anaerobically fermented lot was used to fuel the fermentation of this washed lot for 18-24 hours before being washed with fresh spring water. The result is sweet, floral, and refreshingly juicy.
